Claude Certified Architect exam registration and cost

Claude Certified Architect exam registration runs through Anthropic's Skilljar portal, and the exam itself is scheduled with Pearson VUE. The cost is $125 for CCAR-F (Foundations), $175 for CCAR-P, $125 for CCDV-F and $99 for CCAO-F; partner cohorts have paid $0. Here are the steps, what you need, and what happens if you fail.

01 — The gate

Confirm your employer is in the Anthropic Partner Network

The CCA-F is gated through the Partner Network Anthropic announced on 2026-03-12. If your employer is listed, your work email triggers the attestation flow on Skilljar. If not, you cannot register today.

Named launch partners: Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant, Infosys (global systems integrators, verified at network launch).
Canonical check: anthropic.com/news/claude-partner-network. More partners are being added.
Internal channels: Your employer may have added Anthropic to the eligible-vendor list without it being publicly visible. Ask the learning or partner-program team.
02 — Attestation

Complete the Skilljar attestation form

Skilljar is Anthropic Academy's LMS at anthropic.skilljar.com. The attestation is a short form gating CCA-F enrolment. Submission triggers an entitlement email, typically within 1–3 business hours; allow up to one business day.

Email: must be a corporate domain. Personal addresses are rejected.
Full name: appears on the certificate; use the name you want cited on LinkedIn.
Company name: must match the email domain, or the form flags a manual review.
Role / title: free text. Solutions Architect, Senior Engineer, AI Lead are all fine.
Partner-agreement acknowledgement: checkbox. In some browsers an unchecked box fails silently.
03 — Most common rejection

Avoid the corporate-domain trap

Skilljar matches the email domain literally against an allowlist. The trap is not configurable and the support workaround is slow.

Personal addresses (@gmail.com, @outlook.com, @yahoo.com) are rejected as 'not a valid company'.
Forwarding aliases still need the canonical corporate domain on the form.
Contractors: use the contracting employer's domain if they are a partner. Otherwise wait for general access.
Lookalike domains violate the Partner Agreement. Don't.
If rejected: you will see 'not a valid company'. The form does not let you edit a rejected submission; start fresh with your corporate-domain email. If that is also rejected, your employer is most likely not on the allowlist yet.
04 — Scheduling

Schedule within the 30-day window

Once entitlement arrives, the exam-scheduling link has a finite window. Beta-cohort reports converge on 30 days. Rebooking after expiry requires a support contact and adds about a week.

Re-issue if expired: possible, requires Skilljar support.
Proctoring slots: self-scheduled within the window.

What it costs

List prices and validity come from Anthropic's four exam guides, version 1.0, effective July 2026. Eligible partner cohorts may receive a fully covered exam attempt.

Retake policy · checked 2026-09-11: Up to four attempts are allowed in a rolling 12-month period. Wait 14 days after the first failed attempt, 30 days after the second and 90 days after the third. The list fee applies to each attempt.

What to expect after the exam

Two timelines collide. Anthropic's guide says certificates land in 2 business days; the community-reported reality is 7–10. Your scaled score is visible at submit; the credential PDF and Credly badge take longer.

Guide promise: 2 business days to certificate.
Community reality: 7–10 business days in practice.
Immediate: scaled score, passed / not passed, at submit.
Format: certificate PDF plus a verifiable Credly badge.

As of 2026-09-11, registration is gated through the Anthropic Partner Network. If your employer is not an eligible partner, you cannot register yet; wait for Anthropic to open general access. This site does not publish workarounds around the eligibility gate.
