CCA-F

Claude Certified Architect - Foundations. Anthropic's foundational architect certification: 60 questions across 5 domains (D1-D5), 720/1000 to pass, $125 fee, 12-month validity, proctored delivery via Pearson VUE.

diagnostic

A free 10-question quiz (no signup required) that takes about 5 minutes. The diagnostic samples across all 5 exam domains; your score becomes the input to the adaptive plan that schedules concepts and scenarios to your weak spots.

Related: adaptive plan, mock

mock

A 30-question full-format simulated exam mirroring CCA-F's domain weightings. Requires signing in. Lifetime cap of 3 free attempts per account; additional attempts will be paid in a future tier.

adaptive plan

A study schedule auto-generated from your diagnostic results. Sequences concepts and scenarios by your weakest exam domains, paced over 6 months at ~10-15 hrs/week. Re-generates when you take a mock.

concept

One of 30 technical primitives the CCA-F tests on, e.g. agentic loops, MCP, tool_choice, stop_reason. Each concept page carries a definition, diagram, code example, exam pattern, and 3-question mastery check.

scenario

An end-to-end production architecture (problem → components → data flow → build steps → failure modes) that combines multiple concepts. The CCA-F scenario set covers roughly 60% of CCA-F exam weight; the catalog now spans all four Claude certs.

knowledge mirror

A simplified mirror of one official Anthropic Skilljar course. Each knowledge page contains a 5-minute digest, the full lesson outline with our annotations, key takeaways, and an FAQ block. Read these to see how Anthropic teaches a topic; read concepts to learn the primitive itself.

Related: concept, Skilljar

reference

Quick-lookup pillar. Concepts answer 'what is X', scenarios answer 'how do I build X', reference answers 'I need the rule right now'. Use mid-mock or in the 24 hours before the exam.

league

A weekly league is the roster you are ranked against: learners at your own tier, studying the same certification. You take a seat by earning sparks that week, and seats reset every Monday. Your tier itself is durable and follows sustained work, so a quiet week costs you a seat but not your standing. This replaced the older 'cohort' grouping, which assigned peers by signup month and diagnostic score.

Related: progress score

progress score

A 0-1000 composite of your activity on this platform, used to rank the leaderboard. Weighted: 50% concept mastery, 30% mock best score (last 90 days), 10% scenario walkthroughs, 10% streak. Bonuses for qualified referrals (+10 each, capped at +30). Because it includes streak and referral components it measures effort, not exam readiness — your mock score against the pass mark is the exam-relevant number.

Related: mastery, mock, scenario, streak

streak

Consecutive days with at least 30 seconds of study activity (reading a concept, taking a quiz, etc.). Streaks contribute 10% of the progress score; longest-ever streak earns badges at 7 and 30 days. Three freeze-days per account protect against breaks.

Related: progress score

mastery

A concept is 'mastered' when you spend ≥2 minutes of focused reading time on its page AND answer 3 practice questions correctly. Mastery contributes 50% of the progress score, blueprint-weighted to match exam domain weights.

evidence pip

A 4-tier coloured dot tagging every factual claim across ACP. Green = official Anthropic source, yellow = community consensus (multiple pass-takers), orange = single source, red = inferred / unconfirmed. Browse the evidence ledger to audit any claim's source.

Skilljar

The third-party learning platform (Anthropic Academy) Anthropic uses to deliver official certification training content (videos, modules) and, during the beta cohort, the exam-entitlement attestation. The proctored exam itself is now delivered through Pearson VUE. Our knowledge-mirror pillar simplifies each Skilljar course; ACP is independent and not affiliated with Skilljar, Pearson VUE, or Anthropic.
