What is changing, and what you need to do
Anthropic announced in 2026 that Claude certification exams and badges are moving to new platforms. The badge part is concrete: your badge is being reissued on Credly, a widely used badging platform, instead of being surfaced through Skilljar. (🟢)
The most important part first: your certification still stands. Anthropic confirmed nothing you earned is affected. (🟢) All you need to do is accept the reissued badge when the Credly email arrives.
How to accept your badge on Credly
These are the standard Credly steps. Your own Credly email is the authoritative source, so follow the exact instructions in it if anything differs.
- Watch for the Credly email. The acceptance email comes from "Anthropic via Credly" (admin@credly.com) with a subject like "You just earned a badge from Anthropic", sent to the email address you used for the exam. (🟢) Reissues started landing early July 2026 and roll out over time; check spam, and check your corporate quarantine if it is a work address. (🟢)
- Open it and accept the badge. Click the "Accept your badge" button (the email also includes a plain credly.com acceptance link if the button is blocked). (🟢) The badge is titled Claude Certified Architect - Foundations, issued by Anthropic, and represents the exam you already passed. (🟢)
- Create a free Credly account or sign in. Credly is a free badging platform. (🟡) If you have used Credly for another badge, sign in; otherwise create a free account with the email the badge was sent to.
- Find the badge in your Credly profile. Once accepted, the badge appears in your Credly profile with a public, verifiable badge URL you can share or embed. (🟡)
- Nothing else is required. Your certification stands and is unchanged. (🟢) Accepting the badge simply moves your verifiable, shareable credential onto Credly.
How do I add my Claude badge to LinkedIn?
