What we collect, why, and how to opt out.

Plain-English privacy policy aligned with India DPDP Act + EU GDPR. Declining analytics keeps every analytics/advertising vendor off. Essential service data still exists: normal server requests and the anonymous practice capability needed to save and resume work without an account.

01 · What we collect

Only what the feature you use needs

Anonymous practice sessionA random capability is kept in a Secure HttpOnly SameSite cookie so browser scripts cannot read it. The practice database stores only its SHA-256 verifier and uses it to resume diagnostics and warm-ups without a login. It expires after 30 days or is revoked when you claim the work into an account.
Mock attempt scores + concept masteryOnly when you sign in. Tied to your Clerk account; deletable on request.
Page views + click eventsOnly with consent - routed through Google Tag Manager → Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel + Conversions API.
Session recordings + heatmapsOnly with consent - Microsoft Clarity records mouse movement, clicks, scrolls, and page structure to show us where people get stuck. PostHog product analytics and session recording are behind the same consent choice.
Legacy referral links/r/<code> now redirect to sign-up without storing referral attribution.
02 · Why we collect it

One purpose: find which pages help people pass

The single purpose: identify which pages help people pass the CCA-F exam. We measure where you drop off, which scenarios get completed, which concepts get mastered. We do not sell data.

03 · Who we share with

The processors that run the site

GoogleAnalytics 4 + Search Console - aggregated page-view metrics, anonymized IPs.
Meta / FacebookPixel + CAPI - conversion events (mock_completed, signup_completed). Server-side hashed user data per Meta's privacy spec.
Microsoft BingWebmaster Tools - sitemap + URL submission only; no behavioral data.
Microsoft ClarityOnly with consent - session recordings, heatmaps, click and scroll capture. Clarity masks input box content, numbers, and email addresses by default before anything is uploaded.
ClerkAuth provider; stores email + sign-in events.
RazorpayOnly when you buy a plan in India - processes the payment and receives your name, email, phone and payment details. We never see full card numbers.
Dodo PaymentsOnly when you buy a plan outside India - merchant of record; processes the payment, calculates tax and receives your name, email, billing country and payment details.
ConvexOur database; stores everything you've done while signed in plus the verifier and practice state required to resume an anonymous diagnostic or warm-up.
PostHogProduct analytics, behavioral events and session recordings tied to your anonymous distinct id. Self-hosted-equivalent EU/US deployment. It loads only after you accept analytics consent.
04 · How to opt out

Decline once; every vendor stays off

Click “Decline” on the cookie bannerNo GTM, no GA4, no Pixel, no Clarity, no PostHog, and no Vercel Analytics or Speed Insights. You can reverse the choice here at any time; declining after acceptance clears this site's analytics identifiers that this site can access, persists the denial to your signed-in account before navigation, and reloads without those providers. Provider-owned third-party identifiers remain subject to your browser and the provider's own privacy controls.
Delete cookies + localStorageFor claudearchitectcertification.com in your browser - resets you to a fresh anonymous device.
Account deletionEmail coach@claudearchitectcertification.com with your sign-in email; we purge your Clerk + Convex records within 7 days.
The analytics consent control on this page (under “Your controls”) changes the same choice as the banner.

Not for under-18s

The CCA-F exam targets working AI engineers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe we have, email coach@claudearchitectcertification.com.
